750€ doesn't seem like a bad deal to me.
The MC is a bit different from the sp606 though. The MC has a way better sequencer, it also comes with way more sounds inside. I'm thinking the MC909 gives you more features, but I'm not sure about FX and so on. It most likely has that covered nicely like we're used from Roland though.
If I could get both for free, I'd probably go for the MC-909 for sure.
For 750€ you might want to compare the MC-909 to the newer MC-808 too, it's smaller and while not necessarily better, you'll be having less issues with CF cards, software and so on I think and it's smaller while still having just about everything the MC909 has.

Thanks PHeMoX...I just order it for 700E ,and i will keep sp606 for a while to see how they get along!
I like that the 909 has digital in-outs so i sold much "useless" analog gear(compressor,eq,exciter...),also i prefer it from 808 cause i don't use computer...
Here in Greece you can still find old memory cards, such us SmartMedia...even a new 909 for 1500E...!

a MC-909 with 272 RAM go for around 600,- to 800,- ...so ur deal aint bad at all. I just ordered 1 too....gonna hook it up to my MC-505 and SP-404 ....the 909 is 1 hell of a studio....either the MC-909 or the RS-7000 from Yamaha (which I also like alot except that the RS is bedded in plastic...I like the "full metal jacket" better like the MC has
Once u have the 909...get the SRX expansion board for ur personal need.

The problem is i don't find the time to enjoy them!beside my work i play bass...
...So i try different setups to find one ,that it will be more direct for creating music. At first i used a laptop then i tried some synths-fx but i never finished writing a complete song, only some loops...i hope not to end-up buying a MV8800!it's an expensive hobby!
A SRX card would be the first thing to buy...I will check the 909 sounds first and then i will decide which srx i need.I had an xv5050 and i really liked the SRX-09 World Collection...

Yeah, an MV8800 is very expensive, but I'm having loads of fun with it.
I imagine I would have the same fun with an MC-909 and some more gear though. In the end it's all a matter of preference.
