Factroy setting to unprotect

is this possible?
i know that from bank 5 to 16 this is normally possible (system>utility>config>pad protect)....; i want to know that in order to change factroy samples settings.

for now i resolute this thingy like that: i made a pitch scale of a synth from the factory setting; then i clipboarded the result one by one to another bank; after i changed setting (from "phrase" to "single" mainly). i think it's the only method to work this problem. copying the sample to another pad.

anyway, do you know if we can delete those samples?
