2 Songs I wrote/produced with a friend

made these from scratch over the last two days. my friend and i are both 18, and we play all the instruments/produce it all. it's very rough, and we've never sang until now, but i'd love to hear all of your opinions on it. just got the 404 a few weeks ago, and it's used heavily in these two tracks. only live instrument is a guitar.

first track has vocals, second track just instrumental and unfinished

it will only take 5 minutes of your time, I'd really appreciate your thoughts. thanks!

i would recommend a box.net account. you get a gig and you can link to streams or downloads from you account. also no ads or annoying graphic interfaces that try to trick visitors from clicking on ads instead of your file. give it a shot

hey reba dude!
i took a listen to the first song and i have to say that its really not bad, man!
the intro and the whole rythm and the samples you used remind me a lot of some 80s pop songs

its calming me down somehow. you should really create a myspace account and do some more tracks. and it is really well produced for being recorded in two days.

and by now it started playing the second and the more i listen to it the more i like it. you've both got some talent

wow, thank you so much for the comments. i will definitely be posting more when we've cut some more tracks. i'm really looking forward to the summer, when both of us will be recording together every day. these two tracks are the product of two days of hard work after not playing together for 6 months.

it's good not exactly my style but its good I can tell its a rough draft and it definitely has that atmospheric feel the beat kinda reminds me of the 10cc beat from the arena
