CS6X + RM1X + SP-404 :D

Post by eldwarfo »

Well, looks like I've managed to land myself a Yamaha CS6X for £50, which is just swell.

This means I can use the CS6X as a controller for the RM1X, which will be triggering the SP-404 (I can't forsee any real limitations in doing this).

One question, though - would it be possible, in the above setup, to have the CS6X also connected to the 404's 1/4" jack (so I can sample from that on the fly)?

I actually meant connecting the synth to the 404 by 1/4" jack (into the 404's ext. source), but I've also got 1/4" to RCA cables so that should be cool.

Man, I'm excited as hell about this. Freaking bargin.

put it into the LINE IN and turn ur EXT.SOURCE on so u can hear it on your phones...or hook it up to a reciever(LINE OUT)....either way the EXT.SOURCE button has to be on

Yeah, I know :) I've played my bass through it a few times, and I've had fun sampling from my MP3 player via the line-in RCAs.
