Pitch control hardware?
Is there such thing as stand-alone pitch control hardware that I could hookup to my sp?... Or any basic (very basic.. not no reason or pro tools shit) computer software that will pitch anything that plays from the computer?
software exists in all sorts of forms. you could use audacity (free) or find some freeware "dj" software...that will allow you to pitch and tempo shift stuff. load files and adjust the slider.
on the hardware side....one thing i did as an experiment: i got a SUUUPER lousy behringer multi-effects guitar pedal....uh.....the FX 600! which was really cheap.
anyway, it has a ridiculous pitch shift function. i ran some stuff thru this into the 404, and it worked pretty well as a pitch shift on the way in.
something to try maybe?
