505 tempo help please

so i made a song in reason, and wanted to map the verse, chorus etc to various pads on the 505,
so i put them on the card, then onto the 505
normally i can import from my card fine, but this time the tempo of the loop when i press the pad is hella fast its not the right BPM

help!

change the sample from phrase to single in the sample edit screen. this will unlock the samples speed from the pattern bpm.

that didnt work, its already in single mode.

then you have exported those wav files using the wrong settings. you need to encode them to 44kHz, 16 bit uncompressed wav files otherwise the pitch of the sample will be incorrect or it may not load at all.
