ROLL function on SP-404 is possible!

Post by valve_soul »

The roll function is the sample repeating itself to a specific time interval.
It works best on single non pattern samples, as a snare sample or a kick sample.
So here is the trick:

- assign the loop function to the sample you wanna roll
- modify the time interval simply using the start/end function as usual when we correct the start/end point of a sample
- resample this sample to have different snares (for example) with different time rolls (with various start/end points of course)

@juxt: When I saw this topic I remembered that I had seen a video with a similar trick. Now I know it was your video, I must have seen all the SP videos on youtube.
