my 404 is haunted

did anyone experienced that the EXT.SOURCE go on and off without touching it?

I have my MC-505 hooked up per midi and ofcourse as an ext. source.

Last evening I sorta noticed that all of a sudden that the ext. source goes off automatically and after a short period of time it automatically goes back on while on playback. This did´nt happen before.

anyone have a clue?

yeah you probably pressed the ext source button while recording a sequence. Its like a pad, you gotta hit delete and hold down ext source button while recording a sequence to keep it off.

that coulda happened...was making patterns last evening ...thx for ur help, I´ll try it out after work ( yeah I work on Saturdays) :cry:

I agree with Juxt, you probably pressed it during pattern recording. I think all 404's and 303's are a little haunted though.

when i 1st turn on my 303 and open bank c, pad 3 is always lit.....

it is as it is....I must have somehow touched that pad while recording my patterns...well on 2 of em, anyhow after rerecording that pattern I pressed the del button on the EXT. SOURCE and looky there all plays again....ok ok I´m turning 44 pretty soon but I swear I did´nt touch it on the 1st recording...or did I?...hmmmm

None the less thx 4 all ur help on this matter....can someone please help me cross the street now? :lol:
