just today i was thinking about how much i like your vocal samples, llike on the end of Quetzacoatl that guy talking about the drums. and def that ray charles sample was tight. Right on Shmedy, I usually have some kind of idea as to what vocal samples I want to use in my music but I usually end up getting struck by a certain phrase that has an effect on me so I just go with it. I tend to make music I can enjoy and hope there are people like me that will also enjoy it, plus I can't even come close to making music like the producers I admire. That being said I'm just glad to be on a forum with so many talented/chill producers that are all into helping people expand horizons and open minds to new music.

Yeah, I haven't used it much until now but I made that whole track with the microkorg. I like to fool around with new equipment for a long time before I use it on a track since I just play around with music more than I record it.

It's my first synth and I really enjoy it. I also hear the alesis micron is really good and it has a sequencer in it. The Mopho by Dave Smith also looks great and it's a true analog mono synth for around the same price as a new microkorg.
