Ive been making music primarily with software later and have only been using the 404 as an effects box. but i felt like abit of a change of pace, and just made a quick beat on the 404 and recorded it to this little portable cassette player. Its somehow so much more satisfying to knock out quick songs on the 404 than the more intricate and complex software-based tracks.
I like the track, but you need to bleed the tape a little more so more sound comes through and a little less hiss, I also recognized that vocal sample on the first track from the Madlib/Dilla song, "you must be outta ya' head if ya' system ain't up to the red."
