i meant money like...
i assemble a cd case, print the cover, artwork on the disk. total up the cost and divide it by the cds made, then charge for that. with shipping. only make them if people wanted a copy, like a 10-20 unit run. nothing too serious, the total cost would probobly be less than 30 bucks.

but if there was a profit it would DEFINITELY go to hookers and blow

Forum battles would be sick. I'd love to beat some MPC Fanboy. We could start easy with futureproducers, goddamn that place is full of retards...

Trust me, you don't want them following you 'home'... it will kill the great atmosphere we got over here. :!:

That forum is a joke. The members who actually know stuff have a joke about a "beetmaker VST" which they turn all the people who ask shit like "how do I make my beat sound like lil wayne?" to look for.

How many submissions do we already have? I'm still a bit feared that this ends up right like the other tapes... :?
My track is done, but I gonna hold it back to the last days...
How many tracks can we submit... ? Would be cool to have a well balanced tape...

its going ok i guess, still have til march 6th... i got 5 peeps submitting with 9 beats, 10 with mine. submit multiple beats if you want, ill use multiple ones depending on how many tracks i get in the end.
also, what do you guys think the length should be? should i cram everything in to the brim or cap it around 40 min or something?

to me i also dont care about cd lengths, but im thinking in terms of sending it out to users outside the forums. sometimes long play time results in the tracks at the back not getting the amount of spins as the front tracks. 40 min is a solid length i think. but i also would love to have a sprawling epic beat mix... so i guess ill decide as i get more tracks.
