Yo SteveC those drums are sounding real nice man. Sounds like en entire drum kit to me... Props for those ninja skillz!

I've to admit that getting drums isn't that hard as I thought... :oops:

Cheers man, I thought I'd have a go at making my own kit from the sample for this battle. Struggled with the bass drum and I'm still not that happy.

BTW thanks to all you guys on the forum you've really got me thinking about making sounds with the 404 in a new way!

i gave a go at this sample.. finding a snare was incredibly hard so i just gave up ahha besides i got some bullshit papers to write and really i shouldnt be making beats... which raises the question... why am i here now? LOL.. maybe i'll try again if i can get these papers outta the way...ive yet to enter a battle!

don't get too hung up on a snare that sounds like a snare...can always use a piece of static, or a short shot of some sort. i haven't cut up this sample yet, but i've done that in the past.

what i'm sayin is (and peeps will back me up i'm sure) there's a real benefit to entering the battles. you learn stuff each time.

yeah, i'm gettin my bazooka teef fixed up
front two got smashed when i was a young'n, patched up cheaply a few times but kept breaking (horrible experiences, one and all). finally getting a more permanent fix
shit is hell, hours in a dentist chair with ya mouf open and million tools buzzing and scraping..and it takes 3 sessions

i'll just focus on my anticipation for seein El-producto tomorrow night...yeehaw!

think i'll bring my SP to work tomoz for some lunch-time battle prep
