SP404-Flashing pads in pattern mode

So any one out there know a way to disable the horrid orange blinking of the pads while in pattern mode? The pads don't even blink in time with the
sequence.The way they blink out of time with the Blue BPM indicator light
is totally distracting and makes that very cool and useful feature un usable.
ARRGH!!!!!!!!
other than that i love this box

yo, It was annoying for me at first also, but you'll get used to it.
Nothings written about it in the users manual, so I guess it's rather impossible to change it.
