Crazy weather

Post by ColeRockLee »

I been MIA the last couple days due to a freak ice storm. Shit's so bad trees are breaking under the weight of the accumulated ice. The whole fucking town was shutdown yesterday. I got no electricity or heat or anyfuckingthing. I been toughin it out like motherfucking Grizzly Adams. Burning shit in the BBQ grill to keep warm and cook. Their slowly restoring electricity but I dunno when the fuck shit will back to normal. I'm in a motel room tonight (only room I could find in a hundred mile radius). Shit is crazy, hope all you guys are alright too.

Glad you're okay Hema, was wondering why you haven't been in the chats. Get a UninterruptedPowerSupply for your comp so you never lose files in a storm.

I'm careful with what I burn, only plain untreated wood. All the burning happens outside too so the fumes/smoke ain't such an issue. Hopefully this shit won't last much longer.

japan's cold and getting some snow up north but nothing like last year.

hey hema how does this ice storm compare to the one we had in the early nineties? do you remember that one? school was out for like a week, some people were outta power for almost a month. what is it with the mid-south?
