IMO IIIII killed it though, the ambient twisty noises, the reverby hits, the off-kilter groove... delicious

So I lighted a J and listened to all of our tracks in a row, here's my thoughts:

Euclid - nice flow and every sound fits, plus banging drums man!

Blindfold - your beat sucks ass dude, you better get some better drum work going on, practice more!

Camilo - for sure a funky track like I said before, it even got a good song structure, thumbs up!

The Count - that beat wants to make me play SNES

But seriously, dope work as always, awesome varations and lots of different

effects!

JustJeff - dope bassline and very cool groove!

elhau - you did an awesome intro and that beat with the kinda abstract feeling right after that. even the outro is very cool!

fatleader - mad clap sounds and awesome effect on the sax sample, incredibly relaxed beat, good job

Fauna - nice track, I dig the drums and the mood of your beat!

IIIII - crisp sound athmosphere, just dope man!

JayLost - your beat is very upcheering, nice use of the guitar samples!

juxt - cool bassline and rock solid drums, good groove man!

rOnny - I've bounced your beat very often over the last days and I know you only got your SP for like two weeks now. mad tight beat

homie! ;D

Sargent SP - sounds like right out of GTA Vice City

Hot beat!

SteveC - nice beat, I like the chilly vibe!

Several times I thought I found my fav but it's hard to pick.

So in the end I vote for Count Sierackula this time, I think his track got me most!

Tomorrow is my last exam this semester, I've got 3 weeks off after that. Can't wait for the next battle to come :twisted:

Yeah, 14 warriors and only 16 votes is sad.
It would be good if we had some kind of banner in the main page calling people to hear and vote.
I don't know if the majority of the users are aware about the battles.

The poll ends today and it's a tie. I guess next battle we can have both winners pick a sample track and the warriors can choose which one they flip. Suggestions anyone?

Maybe we can let the pool open for more one day or the winners can talk with each other and choose the sample together.
But if happen to have two sample tracks I think it could be allowed to mix them.
