Hey man glad you've been checking the vids.
Making vids is a fun way to blow off steam after producing music all day.

If you can grab an ASRX for $250 ish I'd consider it.

I no longer F with file transfer for any of my samplers- takes too long.
I just sample right off the DAW. But on the X you can file transfer relatively easy since the sounds are saved in the machine as AIFF files.
You can just throw sounds on a ZIP (remember those?), press a bunch of buttons and assign them to the X pads. But the ASRX analog inputs sound great, and there's even a dedicated adjustment knob for that.
I love the X cuz it has decent on-board sounds, incredible effects, and #1 for me is you can use it as a module (ie: play it with a controller keyboard, do pitch bending, crazy mods, etc...) I got it for mad cheap off CL. I sampled all of it's drum sounds into the 606 on LONG mode and man do they sound dope on the SP.

Even with the SP-606 now, I just sample it digital- all that card transfer shit is a drag, and it Fs up my flow + you get the (I think) added benefit of running the audio through the sampler's input- it's more immediate & rewarding.
