i think i checked the manual with no luck.
is there a way to reverse samples like on the 303. cause on the 404 it jumps to the end of the sample. on the 303 it reverses it right where it is. ? anybody ?

set your mark points, truncate the beat then reverse. That should work. I just bought my first sp (404) two days ago so Im learning.

gotta resample and use a different pad (and different pattern if your doin that), or cop a 303 to go with your 404

No I tried it out, it works. Set your your mark points (start/end points) the press [delete] then [mark] then it should say trnc or some abbreviation of truncate then press delete again and now the sample is the exact size from the mark points and it will reverse perfectly. It saves time instead of resampling.

thats not what he meant, he meant like, say your playin a sample, amnd halfway through you hit reverse, that it reverses it from that EXACT point backward, instead of jumping to the end of the marked points, truncating does nothing for reversing a pad, it always played from whats marked, reverse or not, just saves space on the internal or the card memory

That's a cool feature if the 303 can do that. I always thought they were almost the same, I never touched a 303 though.
