Help with uploading with 404

I really wanna show you guys some of the beats I've been working on but I seem to have trouble finding out how to record them to the computer and this site's search tool isn't all that great. When I try to record to audacity I get a shitload of static and just everything sounds horrible. If someone can please explain in detail on how to do this than it would be greatly appreciated!

That seems very useful and I can't wait to purchase that but in the meantime is there any other method to upload decent audio to my computer using my rca wire to my computer with audacity?

get an rca to 1/4' inch cable with an 1/8 inch jack adapter a record thru ur comps LINE/MIC IN. thatll a great temp fix...peace
