What to name samples when uploading to cf card?

Post by 5thdimension »

I've searched this topic in he manual and on the forum and can't seem to find an exact answer. I just got my cf card today and still trying to figure out how to upload samples. I dont see any "root folder" on my card. Only a roland folder with a bunch of backup folders in it. If someone could please tell me what to name the files and where to drop them to in the card that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i dont think you need an extension. but just drop them into the root of the card. you might need extensions. look into the manual. but if you dont have one. go to the S.P.I section of the forum tey have one there. makes things easier. learn that manual. like crazy. its the best thing to learn
