i thought this was a thread about something important, like diversity among cultures, but it's about that uninteresting addage that basicly only Americans hold in which one word is more offensive than another. like when i watched George Carlin live ( i was around twelve, and my mom took me, yeah my mom was cool ) "it's like if I say the word Fuck it's going to fly right up and hit me on the head" and as he says it he slaps his head with his hand.

when will people let this stuff go? did you know, that in countries where drugs are decriminilized the usage generally goes down. just food for thought.

i'm guilty as charged on the profanity.

this forum has cats from a bunch of different countries, with a bunch of different backgrounds, skill levels, personal and spiritual histories, and the MAIN TONE throughout is respect.

moreso than other forums i am a part of, that's what holds this place together.

i apologize if my profanity has offended anyone but i really see it as a minor issue, given that the much larger success of this place is the respect that binds it together. i think THAT is something we've all worked to maintain.

i think it is telling that dudes on here feel free to post their visual art, video work, etc. because it suggests that despite aw the fuggin fuggin, people don't feel like they'll have their face snapped off for leading with their creativity. rare in the world, rarer still online.

There are billions of forums out there that are far worse. I don't think people are disrespectful to eachother either. I'm thinking there has only been like one instance of a forum troll trying to get banned. Aggression in a negative sense is more rare than eating spaghetti with chopsticks in Bangladesh.

thought about it a little and here is my conclusion. if any one cares. dudes on here say what they feel and the way the want to say it. i try not to offend anyone in person or on the net, but if i tell someone that their shits tight, and they take it as a complement, and some third person party reads it and is offended. then that third person party should really just get a life or get offended over something worth being offended over. so ya, this is our language. im sure if you can get over that little insignificant fact, you will really enjoy being a part of this forum. peace.

I don't think you offended anyone, I just think most people were shocked it was even an issue worth bringing up, since regardless of language we all enforce a larger rule of respect. You're still all good in my book.
