I really like the soundtrack of that anime movie Ghost in the Shell. I dig the music of the TV series The Shield. There are a few more... but i'd have to search. The soundtrack of Blade: Trinity is pretty cool as well.

I never saw it, but I heard Wall-E (yep the kids movie) had excellent sound design. Supposedly the dude who made sounds for R2D2 recorded like 2,500 new sounds to use in the movie, which I heard is very light on dialogue- prolly a good one to 'go green' to...
