memory card operation speed

I find the deleting, exchanging, loading, saving operations very slow in the 303. Are the memory card and internal operations faster in 404 in comparision with the 303?

i think its all done in realtime - ie the length of the sample is the time it takes to delete/import/etc

ya, the 303 is slow because it does everything from the smart media card(especially whens its almost full) The 404s card and internal banks are just about as fast as each other since the compact flash is faster.
