Recording multi-sequenced samples to one pad...

Is there any way to record created patterns in the pattern sequencer to one pad?

Record it to a DAW or any other recording device and bounce it back to a pad.

Ok, so record the sequence patter to a DAW, convert to wav, then load it to the 404. Just out of curiosity, what DAW do you recommend and what are you sing to connect the 404 to the DAW (mixer, interface, or maybe some other more resourceful means)?

I'm pretty broke so I just use RCA 2 1/8th inch line cable into my macbook which makes for pretty low quality transfers. In terms of DAW, I use Reaper audio. If you have some money I'd recommend a audio interface to get higher quality transfers to your DAW.

i don't know if your about converting to wav and importing, but i never get down with that, too much trouble, why not just go out from your comp into the audio ins???

Thanx again for the help! Dont worry im sure youll scrounge up some cash to but an interface.

I never really thought of connecting the computer to the sp and sampling from there instead of importing and exporting the wav... great idea!
