Kinetic 2

Post by Jason13 »

Hi this is my 1st post and I am looking to get an SP606 soon!

Hope this question is not too dumb and obvious, but I have looked around the SP606 tips section and could not find any reference to it.

I know you can use the SP606 with Kinetic, does that go for Kinetic 2 as well?

Thanks in advance, Jason.

Yep, no worries. Kinetic/Kinetic 2 were actually designed to be used with the SP-606!

Ubercool, ta for the quick reply 606man! It's a bit wierd that I couldn't find a mention of it on the Cakewalk site!

This is a great board BTW. I have only been lurking on here for a couple of days and I have learned loads already Kudos. :D

Yeh it's funny the closest they get is telling you that you can use the grid pattern maker with 'MIDI hardware'...

The actual software is the same engine as P606, just a heap better.

And as for the p-606 forum there isn't one you have to share a room with peeps that don't even have a 606 :(( .. I like this room cus we have both discussion on the hardware & software . Which I think that Cakewalk should supports us on our efforts since it's thier software we have to use !! Well I'll c'ya and remember the grooves that move U !!!!

Expensive? Show me other software that has the same capabilities for less dosh and I'll be very impressed :)

It's $79!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's way way less than a night out!

Having said that, it should be included when you buy the SP-606, really.

I've heard that Project 5 is very usefull on the 606 , but haven't tried it yet ? Bummer I know :) .But with Kinetic's not needing the unit plug in to the cpu you can use you're keyboard instead if that you're thing ? And not to change the subject or anything but wow look at this place now :)) . We are growning :))
Remember the groove that moves U !!!
