when sampling to a pad, if you set the bpm and have a count in, it seems to only record one bar of stuff. am i right about this? is there a way to increase the number of measures you can sample?
i realize you can set the number of measures when making a pattern. but i'm wondering about a straight-up sample.
Well, from I tried yesterday, with count in you can get any bar length you want : just play your to bars and stop the recording a little bit afterwards. The SP wil trim whats necessary to get a round number of bars looping.
That being said, It doesn't work quite right with continuous sound : you often get clipping at the turnaround (well you can try to make fine adjustment but it'll always clip a bit)
right - i didn't notice that it was automatically 'mark'ing the file to stay in a one-bar loop. clicked mark off, and there's the extra bars. now to try and minimize drift....
and yeah, i noticed that little turnaround noise...maybe there's a way to mask it...?
