cos I finally threw off the last of my fear of not graduating with a good career path ahead of me...

As of this year I am now going to be a philosophy major! Can't wait to get started studyin this year now. . all my subjects except 2 are gunna be philosophy.. coverin all sorts of stuff, no particular area of expertise..



Lookin forward to a life of sittin in a room pondering the world and its experiences. . . no change really to what I already do haha. . but I guess I have a good excuse now

It might not be what you expect. I did that shit for one semester also and yeah it fucked me up... Ever heard of logic (no not the software)? It's purest mathematic. Hope you like dealing with formulas and shit...

Yeh I've already done logic 1 & 2 . . . not to mention I have also done 1.5years of a computer science degree. . so its all pretty embedded in my brain now..

It's a useful tool. .. I think they should make every student learn at least the basics of logic... Maybe the world would be a better place then!

Once you get into higher years, all the philosophy is about the actual interesting stuff, they just make you learn logic first so they dont have to put up with people talking crap in essays later...

(unless you do 'professional ethics'. . 'how to start a coal mine without offending too many people'... pfft)

I love philosophy, but I'm way into Game Theory and math right now. Hence the Euclid name. That's why I like sp-forums, everybody intuitively understands whats good for everyone else is good for your own success.
