Accordion in hiphop

Post by Olby »

Hey guys, hows poppin?

Whats new on the SP side of the world. Have not been here for a bit.

Can I ask if someone of you can remember any songs in hiphop that contains accordion. I known Doom had a song called Accordion but are there any more. The reason I am asking is that we had a discussion about one of my old beats I made like 4 years ago and the guy said like: "Yo, you know that beat with accordion was ill we need to finally finish that track". So I was like yo I never had accordion in my beats and thus I wonder how many songs there are at all that utilize accordions.

I was gonna say DOOM *lol* he sampled it from Daedelus. I had an accordion back when I was really little but I never got to play it right cause there was no one who could've taught me to play it and it was kinda too big for me

hey olby - welcome back mans....wanted to say fanks for the gobs of how-to vids on the 505. i really benefited.

now - accordion....

this is NOT what you are looking for, but there's a dude from MTL that i love called Socalled. he does klezmer hip hop stuff, and he has a fair bit of accordion in there.

no attitude, not of ridiculous stuff, but he's a serious talent:

Man that sounds quite funky. that man has great attitude to his music. thnx for the great link....

guys it looks like i am going to return to the big*ss roland family as you can read in the other gear forum I am planning on copping roland mv 8800 instead of my current gear. so not direct love for sp's but definitely a lot of love for mv's and roland 8)

and of course a bunch of nice mv videos on my profile as soon as I master it! I didn't shoot many mpc videos just because there are too many mpcs on youtube but there are almost none good full scale mv videos on youtube.

peace,

Word up, the best MV movies are from Mike Acosta and Warren 'Hanna' Harris.. Youtube totally needs better MV movies.

There used to be a couple of guys that had awesome MV8000 tutorial videos, but apparently they stopped making new ones for some reason.

People on MvNation do often have valuable tricks & hints, but they don't make movies that much.
