shuffle quantize

just saw in the 555 manual that there is a shuffle quantize option in the pattern sequencer.. i wonder if it is like an adjustable swing option?? lets see. Any word when the 555 will ship??

doesnt look like its a adjustable. But the option for an 8th or 16th swing is pretty cool.

i remember in reading in the manual that their was an adjustable swing that you could choose from 0 to 100 or something.

It's fully adjustable on the 606 so should be the same on the 555 you would think...

I check the manual and the swing is adjustable from 50 to 100% Very dope :)

this is gonna be ill!!! also i noticed that we will be able to make our own banks by dragging wav files from the pc or mac to the pads with the new wave converter software that the 555 comes with!!

I learned programming swing thru triplets - always had to find drum machines/trackers with triplet quantization divisions and never could figure out how that translates to those "swing"rotary controls on non-triplet machines/software.

anybody knows that gives?

50% means "nothing" or on the beat(?)

between that and 100% means pushing a beat back (but which?) - not every beat surely(?)

say yr doing a vanilla blues shuffle - hitting the 1st and 3rd of triplets for yr duh-da, duh-da,, - ad nauseam

whassat in percentages?
