i do, i havnt been drinking latley , then yesterday i ggot hammered with an old drunk dude. and got crazy blacked out and woke up in my own puke.

i remember why i quit drinking last time.

yea i guess theres people who can handle it and it doesnt become a problem.

im gonna lose everything again if i keep drinking.

it doesnt help or enhance music really . and its all together pretty much a false reality then the real reality kicks you in the face .

i just let my gaurd down this time.

i drink to much too but not at one time. i've been drinking three/four beers a night. NIGHTLY. while it's not the same kind of abuse; i'm gaining weight, outta shape, taking way to many beer cans to the recycle bin, whatever...

i sometimes feel like dan from rosanne, but i just don't have shit else to do. actually, those black out nights can be good if you learn from it. for me i don't have such a blatant warning sign, i say i gotta slow down all the time in my mind(and my wife says it) but beer is so good and i can't smoke or go out and party or nothin'

Alcohol is a good companion, but a bad master.

But green is 100x better imo. No matter how much you smoke you still have some tiny form of self control, whereas if you're shitfaced you can't give anything a second thought, weed always makes you happy, alcohol just makes you feel whatever you were feeling stronger, and most importantly, alcohol can kill you, weed can't!

i'm a real heavy alcoholic. the only days i don't drink are the ones after the really blackout nights. longest i've gone without drinking in the last ten years is probably only about 3 or 4 days. life seems so surreal when you go without something you're addicted to

generally, i fink waking up in yr own puke is bad. probably better than waking up in someone else's, but not that much.

booze is an issue for sure, but as posted ^^ above, can be a great friend if its not yr master.

maybe drink a billion gallons of water and just chill oooooout....

i've got kind of a funny story here... i've been a pretty regular drinker for about 7 years or so now... plenty of blacked-out nights... several really "lucky" car accidents (no police / witnesses / passengers / nobody hurt)... but recently i've had to slow down, because whenever i get black-out drunk these days, i piss on something... i don't wet myself... i just find a puddle somewhere around my apartment the next day... like i get up and pee on something after i pass out, then zip up and go back to sleep... the first time i really realized i was doing this was one morning a little less than a year ago... i hear this hissing and popping coming from the other side of the room, walk over and see green flames in the cable box... i had pissed all over my entertainment center... fortunately the ps3 and everything else was fine other than just a little splatter, but the cable box was fried... i've been really scared i'm going to piss on my sampler or something, so i've been paying a lot more attention to how much i drink lately... never had this problem with weed of course, but like hema said, moderation is key

...and i learn from them... haven't driven drunk in years, and haven't blacked out since the urine thing became a problem... (so long as new year's doesn't count)... but giving it up completely is a struggle... i need to find a good woman to keep me in line :wink:

yeah man, i was pissing in the corner of my room for a while, once all over my records :cry:

here's a funny story about doing stupid shit:
i came home wasted once and walked right into my room, layed down on my bed, then rolled over and puked right into my sacred zip-up vinyl bag filled w/ over a hundred cassettes: everything from my childhood when i used to carry a handheld recorder wherever i went, all my songs, just the first half of MY WHOLE LIFE on tape. apparently i just zipped the bag back up and shoved it under my bed and blacked out. that night i had a dream that i somehow cleaned and repaired all of the tapes, one by one. and stupidly, somewhere in the back of my burned-out mind from then on i actually believed that i HAD done that, because i forgot i had puked, and all of it got in the bag so there was no mess on the carpet... till a couple months went by and i was sniffing around wondering if some animal had died under the house. unzipping that bag was like tearing strips of purple-cobweb-string-cheese. i gave the bag a proper burial in the woods at the same spot i got drunk for the very first time.
