i have a real problem

Ive had my 404 dor 4 days, and i was in the middle of upgrading to the latest software, when the counter runs down on the machine it gets to 32 seconds left, then the letters " FE6" come up on the screen, then the machine switched itself off and wont go back on unless i insert the memory card then exactly the same thing happens again

help!!!

Have you tried to get the previous OS and reload it ?

I wouldn't like that much...

i just tried that and this time the countdown stopped at 2 seconds to go then the letters FE7 appeared on the screen, what is going on!!!

gordiegords: is a mother error

....because i call roland when in my sp-404 read "FEO" in teh display when i try to upgrade 1.0 to 1.04...and the mother of my sp return to eeuu...in 30 days

i phoned roland uk who then told me that i would have to go the people who supplied it which is thoman, i spoke to them who said they will arange pick for it, on sunday night i noticed something strange happening to it, the charachter display didnt look right, instead of saying "EMP" for empty it would say something strange like EMF or the the last letter of every phrase would look strange, like "FMT" which would mean format would spell "FMU" i then couldn't upload samples from the card, i followed instructions to the letter but everytime i did the machine spelled out "EMU" which i presume means "EMPTY".
