A YO for all the sp 404 users we really need to make some videos on youtube because im sick of seeing all these mpc on there, dont get me wrong i like the mp and what it can do, but i just want to show people that you can use any machine (especially this one) to make crazy beats, this will be helpful to bounce and share info with others, many peole learn better by seeing you feel me

i remember seeing a young Scottish dude's video of him sampling Simon and Garfunkel's Sound of Silence on the 404...not sure if this was on youtube or google video

but it would probably help new users if there were a few more

It's on YouTube here:

There are a bunch of 404 vids, just have to do a search on "sp404" without the hyphen.

Hahaha Harry Potter on the beats, kid got skills, he should cut down on the quantize though. Lovely accent. Great video, thanks for the link, I couldn't be arsed to look for 404 videos anymore 'cause it was either the very informative Olby videos that always came up or some shit techno wannabees with no skills. (Techno requires skills, these muppets just lacked it).

just wanted to say that while doing the research on what sampler to get, i decided to just look around on youtube and see how the peeps were using the 404. got the answers to the qwestions i had, and got the 404 a coupla days ago.
so fanx to those who put their stuff up there. it had an impact.

ya...not while the sequencer is recording... just while its playing back your drums for example. Get your sample and copy it over the 12 pads and then as the sequence is playing you set your start/end points with the mark button in real time. Best way to chop IMHO.
