I've got the Numark DMX 06 and I think it's good and I like it. But if I were you, I would think what use are you going to give it, if it's for scratching a Vestax should be a really good option, if it's for mixing and you want effects and better mixing a Pioneer or some high class mixer it's what you should get.

yeah man, you' re right. I've got the M44-7 too, which it's special for scratch and it doesn't skip and it sounds great. My turntable is a Numark tt-500 and I think it's pretty good. What's your opinion about it? Someone can tell me his opinion? Because I want to buy the other turntable and everyone is talking about Technics so I am a bit confused, between Numark, Technics, Vestax. I think that Numark one has got lot of good features and it's not as expensive as technics. What difference you see between them? Please tell me something about the turntables

Technics are about as solid as you can get, they have the best motor. I djed a party this past halloween and this kid had the numarks and it was my first time using them and they were good, it depends on what you are using them for. If you are going to lugging them around and djing parties and shows then get techs, for just chillin at the house sampling, scrating, etc.. you would be fine with any direct drive table.

id probably keep str8 scratching, i dont has the space on the time to learn beat juggles, etc.

i wanna do some shyt with dope loops and me scratching for myself. i always find some dope shyt but i dont use it cuz id always wanna scratch over it but didnt have the tools

I have a gold vestax PMC-07 that i'm looking to sell for $200-250. it's a damn good mixer and in good shape other than some wear on the finish from lots of scratching.

I also have a stanton SA-8 that comes with a penny&giles crossfader and an optical focus fader V2 that i would be willing to part with for a bit less. personally i like scratching on the vestax a bit better, but the stanton has an efx loop which is cool.

if you're interested hit me up and maybe we can work something out.

but in general i would say try and cop either a used rane ttm54(better sound) or vestax 05/06/07(better fader) if you want it for straight up scratching if you can find a pioneer djm-707 those are dope too, with a nice adjustable fader, but for starting out the thing is so sharp that it's going to be brutal on your cuts.

edit. i remember my old roommate had a rane ttm54 and he had to replace the crossfader a few times due to static and bleed, i think that you can't open them up like the fader on the vestax pmc series to really clean them out, so that might be something to consider as well.

When I mix then I just use the best : Pioneer CDJ 800 with a DJM 600 :wink:

You can scratch with them too
