THINKING ABOUT GETTING A SP 404 !!!

Post by Scorsese718 »

MY THING IS I USE TO HAVE A SP-606 BUT I SOLD IT TO A FRIEND.... AND DECIDED TO GO WITH THE ROLAND MC-808... BUT I ALSO WANT A ROLAND SP-404 NOW TO GO WITH THE MC-808.... (SOME PEOPLE SAY I WAS DUMB FOR SELLING MY SP-606,) BUT I DONT KNOW...

WHAT IM ASKING IS IF THE MC-808 & SP-404 A GOOD COMBINATION ???

I ALREADY HAVE CRANKED OUT SOME GOOD PRODUCTION USING THE MC-808... BUT I THINK I CAN CRANK OUT EVEN BETTER STUFF COMBINING THE MC-808 & SP-404....

*** HOPEFULLY EITHER DJ FRANTIC OR 606 MAN CAN GIVE ME SOME HELP WITH THIS....

PEACE

go and buy a new keyboard first, seems like your capslock is broken.

Somehow I doubt that you've ever owned a 606.

The 404 can be a great addition to your mc-808 because it has a large range of phantom quality effects. You can connect them via midi and let the 808 handle the sequence.

You could also wait a little while till the new SP-555 comes out and try that. It has everything the 404 has and more. It's sort of like a hybrid of the small, portable samplers (SP-202, -303 and -404) and the more advanced workstation models (SP-505, -606 and -808). Check out Roland's Web site for more info.
