PITCH?

Hello everyone,

I am new here. I have had my SP 404 for a few months now and have been too busy getting the feel of it. How do you slow down a sample that you have recorded?

There is no pitch control like tape or turntable type. You can use timestretch. Or you can cut up parts and exent it via looped chops.

you basically can range between 1.0 (full speed) and 0 - stop.

goes down 0.9, 0.8, etc. . so not sure if youll be able to get it accurate enough with that

it still uses the shithouse time stretching algo as well

I didnt find the DJFX looper very usefull myself. I dunno...maybe its just me.

It isn't because it isn't really slowing down the thing...
It is an effect, it is not affecting the internal clock or anything like that : it only emulates the sound that makes a slowing vynil.

It is efficient when used quiclky on some sequence, not to slow down samples...at least that's my experience with it

DJLooper is a great Fx for detuning short samples. IMO.
