I've looked all over the SP Forums for this questions. Maybe I overlooked one with the answer cause the titles are misleading at times. But here it goes. I just bought a Y RCA cable and I have Logic on my mac... Now what I'm thinking is that you plug the rca cables to your SP and then plus it into the headphone jack of my macbook and volla. But nothing comes out of my speakers. I know I look retarded but I don't care I just want the answer and I'll thank you a million

and AGAIN: I've searched the SP forums for a while now.

SP404 RCA output to the line input of your computer. if still no audio, maby check some of the settings on the computer

make sure it's going into the Mic In part, not the headphones part

and check your factory soundcard settings, could be an issue there

well heres the deal...if you got your mac book...that shit doesnt happen...i know gay right i was mad when i tried...so...i dno...you have to get some plug in or some shit...call mac...thtas what i did they said but this plugin...fucking gay

The headphone thing is an output, not an input, so that won't work indeed.

harmony thanks. I tried it but are there anymore steps to it. I just got my SP 4 months ago and haven't done much with it cause of my software addiction. Are there and steps that I'm leaving out that you are assuming i know? Again thanks for the help. =]

No, the headphone jack is an output, not an input. If you do not have a Mic input next to your headphone jack there, then you're out of luck there bro.

Then you'll need to buy an additional audio interface that you can plug-in with USB cable.

( Before spending money though, can you show us which macbook you've got? )

It was a really stupid question. I was just to lazy to figure it out.
