take a wack at max/msp man, shit really isn't to hard, you just gotta pick up on what all these commands are, and they have help files that show patches of how all the commands work, download the 30 day trial, read up a little, and just fuck around, i made a sampler in it by using the computer keyboard in a class this semester, just used buffer command to load waveforms and then you set what number key triggers it, and if you got into it enough, it fairly easy to record into a buffer any sound thats playing, so you can trigger things and record it into another buffer, then tighten up the end points on that buffer so its like a loop or somethin, then record that new one with other stuff over it into another buffer, and i didn't even fuck with effect processing but there is plenty to get into there, shits pretty cool, and someone who learns it definitely can have a place in the realm of some sort of experimental or electronic media career

Hate to be a killjoy, but that synth isn't all that. I used one everyday for a fortnight a couple of months ago, and it's great if you wanna learn synthesis, and it's a midi controller too, but it sounds all cold and urgh.
