using sp as external fx to daw seqeuncer

Have anyone here tried this? I was wondering if it is possible using the 303/404 fx

Really easy with the 606, but not so sure about the other SPs.

As far as the SP goes, you just gotta make sure the the EXT SOURCE button is lit and that the effects are assigned to it.

I use it as an fx box for a hardware synthesiser I have that has pretty shonky effects on it but great pure sounds - the effects are excellent quality on the sp-404 and the one reason why I haven't sold my sp-404 really...

it has a nice bit of compression on the ouput too (and distortion if you turn it up high)
