What's up yall. I ordered me an sp 404 and hopefully i'll be receiving it before christmas but I was just wondering what cables should I get if I want to connect my studio monitors to my sp?

I checked around online at guitar center since I have one where I'm at but I didn't see a female RCA cord/adapter(if that makes sense). However I did see an 1/4" to RCA cable and then an XLR to RCA cable. I didn't want to go out and just buy some cords and end up messing something up so I figured I'll ask here first.

Just let me know and the speakers I have are Tapco(below link).

Peace

Well it says the monitors have "Balanced TRS/XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs" so you could just use RCA to RCA cables (no female RCA needed)

yea

it appears that the rear panel of your monitor looks like that

If you have regular RCA input it's no problem for you.
However some monitors ( like e.g. my hs50ms ) haven't RCA inputs, and some adaptor is needed if you want to use your rca cables.

Like this ( which I use in my yamahas):
