just dont let it get to you.... my old room mate was so caught up in trying to "producer bangers" that it ended up being just work. I think he lost the feeling you get when you are making something that you, yourself truly love. i catch the same heat, i don't even like tellin people what i'm doin anymore, and the truth is because for (most) everyone on here, this is personal satisfaction for us, we are all doin this cause we heard some shit and got so into it that we wanted to make it ourselves, FOR US, most people just don't understand it, and it can make doin all this work a bummer sometimes, thats usually when i kick back with a great record and just relax for a while, listen to why i love it again.....

i just got a one buddy that fucks with the 404 too, we're down with exactly the same shit, and just the other night, i copped some new records and cut up this sample we had originally been loopin for a little, but didn't really do anything with it....so we chilled out for a few hours, smoked a blunt, and then at about midnight i turned the machine back on and showed him the cuts again (and i'm pretty sure that headie blunt gave some serious motivation), he got out his drum machine, sequenced up this ill beat, i played the cuts live, all of a sudden had the change ups and a chorus part, and then he was on the tables with seperate meth and red acapellas scratchin over it, we rocked the same beat for like 3 hours till 4 in the mornin, shit felt so good to be doin with someone else, i have spent a majority of my time alone on it (he moved a few hours away before we ever both got out machines), so to be doin that with somebody else made the feeling you get out of it explode like ten fold, shit was real, and havin that friend to be into the same shit really helps boost your motivation for doin it, i guess thats why we are all here......
