Alright, I am trying to import a bunch of samples. I loaded them on my card, and named them following the convention in the manual (A_01.WAV, A_02.WAV, etc).
However, when I follow the import procedure, the samples seem to load in some random order (or at least an order than the one I am shooting for with my file names). Any ideas?

you could always just swap the order of the samples using the 404.
i think you hold delete and record, then CHG comes up. then you choose which sample you want to move. next you hit the destination pad for the original sample. if you're moving it to a pad that already has a sample on it, the 404 will just swap the samples.

that's a good point but it can be annoying?
let's see i haven't done it in a while, so a few questions:
1. how many banks are you trying to load onto?
2. is there any chance the files have extra 'unseen' name parts?
if i get time i'll try in the next few days and let you know what i did.

i always start with C and go up.

I was trying to load two full banks, 24 samples. The first time, I started on Bank A. They all loaded fine, but in a random order. So I tried starting on Bank C, with the same result.
The manual says they will be loaded in the order of their file name, so I even tried renaming them all with just numbers (001.wav, 002.wav, etc). They still load in a random order.
I certainly could swap them around if I had to, but that defeats the purpose of loading up the card on the computer. Plus, that would get old once I am doing 120 files.
