such a close call

Post by JAMESveeder »

soo... last night my friend and I were hiiigghhh, and our other friend was driving us around. This cop followed us for about 15 minutes (we hadn't done anything wrong by the way, and we smoked like an hour before) and so he pulls us over finally for "a broken license plate light" and he asks us for all of our IDs. So my friends backpack filled with paraphernalia and weed also had his ID in it, and my friend opened it. The officer said he could smell it and took our friend that was driving out (who was sober) and asks him "if there's any marijuana in the car" or if "any of us were under the influence," or if we "had any pipes" and he answered no to the questions and had to go through the sobriety test. Of course, he passed, but the whole time my friend and I were scared shitless that he was going to have us step out as well and make us do the test and find out...but he just walked up to the car and gave the driver his written warning and let us go...

I've never been so scared in my life haha, and I just wanted to tell some body

if i know what you're talking about, those only work for cops who abide by the laws themselves, which means they don't usually work. man, back when when i was blazed from morn till night, seven days a week, i had so many run ins with the popo but i gotta say there are some cool ones out there too. seriously, it's like in superbad, mclovin, and whatnot. i still would keep my shit in the door(gotta love american made cars lol) but i'm slower to say fuck'em all. just my two sensei.

Been in this situation to many times to count...

I dont look like a bad dude, but for some reason is group situations like this the cop always singles me out, and when I get nervous/scared I get defensive and mouth off the the police. (not a good idea nor do I recommend it).

My best advice, only speak when spoken to, call the cop "officer" not sir, and relax.

Close call my friend. This is why I tend to walk or take the bus when Im out and about doing less than legal activities.

hahaha i wouldn't have the balls to try this, but it is a good idea.

and JBL, yeah I've met a couple cool cops. Me and a couple friends got called on for skating/trespassing and the cop came and he was like "i honestly don't care if you guys skate here, but i have to ask you to leave and take down your information..." and we had a conversation with him about his job and stuff, and then about a week later, I supposedly "ran a stop sign" but the same cop that came and talked to us when we were skating drove up beside me at a stop light and rolled his window down and was like "Hey I remember you kids! You know you just ran a stop sign?" and me and my friend who were in the car were just like "oh shit are you kidding me??" and he was just like "Don't let it happen again!"

It was tight as hell haha, I still don't believe we ran a stop sign, and he was just looking for a reason to talk to us or something, but it was such a good feeling haha.

And whyseone, that is some good advice...i wish i lived in the city though, i'm like just outside of city bus range :/
