best album in 2008 ?

you know the "end" is near... so let's share some thoughts.. what was your fav album in 2008. Maybe there is sth we all missed??!! :wink:

For me it was FlyLo's - L.A... or wait... Portishead - Third was dope too... :lol:

btw. didn't get a chance to listen to the new doom lp yet... so if someone feels like "yo wax gotta hear that shit" would be greatly appreaciated. :oops:

I would also say Portishead, I don't think there's any other album I listened to more often this year. Some other favourites would be Why? - Alopecia, Meshuggah - ObZen and The Notwist - The Devil, You + Me.

I slept on Flying Lotus, I have the album since months but I only listen to the Reset EP all the time ;D I also bought Atmosphere's - When Life Gives You Lemons You Paint That Shit Gold and Alias' - Resurgam but I haven't listened to them enough to put em up in my top list yet.

That's all I really ever bump. For like the last couple years, rarely will you ever catch me listening to new shit. It hasn't been as ill as the classics.
... That said, That Killah Priest- "Behind Stained Glass" was pretty good, I think that came out this year.
