Do any of you use your sampler along with software for editing and stuff? What do you use?

Ardour if I'm on Linux
Reaper if I'm on Windows
Audacity if I'm too lazy to bother with Ardour or Reaper.

i used only cubase for a while before i got my 404, but i just recently started using it again for a final eq of a beat that i rip out to my zoom mrs and back into the sp and then export to wav on the card, use a little effects, but mainly just eq and layout of tracks if i am making some sort of mix or need to do some kinda of multitracking like adding in an acapella or some vocal sampled that i wanna place on my own

Audacity might not be for you, there aren't many feature for editing your tracks easily in my mind. Reaper if full of features but manages to keep stuff straight forward.

No problem, I'm pretty sure it was hematurge that put me onto reaper, so it all goes around.
