I had that Akira manga (the set as a matter of fact), can't tell which volume it is (there was like 6 of em right?), and even the vhs and dvd. I was a bit of a fan. Great reading though, the anime headz are kinda deep around here. Dig it.

Word, that's book 2 of 6. I picked it up at Comicon this year since my friend with a booth gave me an exhibitors pass. I'd skate downtown San Diego and then check out the convention back and forth all week. No hills in downtown San Diego unlike San Franciso  , but I got my flatland on.

yup, word to Euclid, those are QY70s...only using one as a sequencer though, the other is a slave that spits out 16 channels of sound!

for sure man, i got my Zoom 505 very cheaply from a pawn shop...i think it's a great unit....obviously not the best effects pedal around, but surprisingly useful. i really like its tones, very grungy. i think to compensate for the fact there's no knobs to modulate the effects, they designed the effects to have a lot of movement in them, which is great because i use it as a Send through my mixer, and by just sending a little signal out to it, it will bubble away, rising and falling nicely

for each effect you can have one of each of these; Compressor, Distortion, Gain, Noise Reduction OR Amp Replica, EQ, Mod (Chorus or Flange or Octave Double or Step Pitching) Delay/Rev
you can turn any of these effects off too, so if you want an effect could just be Delay 3
the stacking creates really amazing combos

this website is good for patches, though most are designed for guitars:
