does that have the 9th wonder beat that sampled from the same arthur verocia track as one of dooms special herbs?? saw it somewhere, i think on the ST boards somebody posted a link to it not to long ago, its pretty much the one main chorus loop, and then he cuts the other part up different, but obviously the same song, even if you never heard the original....

as for a favorite, to many to name, but lately i've been spinnin alot of PUTS, that mid city fiesta from there first cd is so ill, along with a bunch of other tracks that i'll never learn the names to cause i bump their first 4 or 5 albums at once on shuffle

I knew I heard that sample before. The first thing I said when I heard the beat was... did DOOM make this?? Still a good beat

I live like an hour from Memphis. I was listenin to them cats in 93 (I can remember hearin em as far back as 91). Back then they was raw as hell. It's a shame most of the world will never hear the best shit they did. When they was still Prophet Entertainment, that's real Triple Six shit.

Here ya go...

I recently picked up both Los Angeles and 1983. Probably some of the best albums I've ever listened to.

As for my favorite beat at the moment(it changes constantly)...Unexpected Delight by Flying Lotus(1983).

You muthafuckin right.

I know that song, I can hear the hook in my head just can't place the verses. I think it was called Lock Em In Da Trunk. Dj Squeaky had one with that title too so I may be gettin em confused.

I'm from a little town called Blytheville, Arkansas. Like 50 miles North of Memphis, TN. It's about the same size as West Memphis and not really much different in general.

Yeah, the beat is d0pe! The whole album is very good also. I like the way Reks is rappin.

I'll never leave Premier. For example now, my speakers are complaining about being overused when playing back old MOP Shit RUGGED NEVA SMOOVE remixed by preem. Im loving this joint!
