you could boycott, blog, speak, rally, hold demonstrations and none of that will get you killed (at least not at first and blatantly).

In most countries, it can get you locked up though. "Suspicious" behavior is enough to get locked up for at least 24hrs.

I agree though that violence isn't going to solve this problem. I don't think any problem can be solved through violence, except maybe defending yourself against violence you didn't ask for.

Don't worry about it. It's just the basic idea that people that don't really know you might ultimately not like you. It's perfectly normal, it just means you're not overconfident about yourself.

In 1974 I went to South Korea while serving in the US Army. During the first few months there I saw a lot of things happening that would be unheard of in the USA. For example, after a protest on the campus of a university the leaders of the protesters were arrested, tried, found guilty of something and hung, There was also a nightly curfew from midnight to 6 AM when noone was allowed on the streets and military roadblocks were set up on major highways. Whenever I tried to talk to any of the Korean civilians working for the US Army about anything political they would just clam up rather than risk saying something that might be overheard and passed on to the police. I saw copies of magazines like Time and Newsweek on magazine stands that had any articles about Korea cut out of them. The only TV and radio stations were all owned and controlled by the government. I dated a Korean woman who disappeared for four months, she had been arrested and spent 4 months in jail on suspicion of being a prostitute. Etc.

It was a real education in what freedom is really all about.

The first time I went to an airport after 9/11 and saw armed miltary patrolling I was almost in tears. I'm amazed W hasn't already declared martial law.

this is a serious, serious topic, that being an extreme understatment.right now i'm almost in too good of a mood to discuss it.but i'm truly scared about this election.if the vote is close, the popular vote will not come out on top,and we know what that means...also,keep in mind that right now all over the country we're already having problems with peoples registrations not going through, and i guarantee you that once again, thousands of peoples votes will not be counted.while i still feel like obabma is still a politician, and certain mind states come with wanting to become a politician--i like him more and more everytime i hear him speak.the problem is,the things he has the nuts to say thats starting to make me realize that he's much more than your average politician is whats gonna alienate him from republicans and democrats alike.we're about to find out how many "democrats" are truly liberal and non-racially biased.seriously,i'm scared.i pray that barrak comes out on top,but i dont think its gonna happen.i PRAY im wrong...if i knew all of you in person, and he wins, i would let each and every one of you punch me in the face for being so pessimistic.but still,if he does win, dont expect him to wave a magic wand and create an entire new country and government in a couple years.no matter who wins-america is very likey headed for a depression that will get a lot worse until it can be better.and all we can do is hope that obama will be true to his word-which i'm starting to think he will be.but remrmber-he still doesnt support universal health care,he hasnt made any mention of the insane justice system we have in place, and he still believes american capitalistic democrocy is the best way to go.what i'm hoping is that he has much more radical and progressive ideas than hes let us know-and i truly think thats a real possibility-this is a man that idolized malcom and the panthers.but i'm telling you-dont think everything will be perfect if barrack wins.ok im done, this is stupid, whats gonna happen is whats meant to happen.im gonna go make some beats and let yall hear them really soon.much love and respect to all-dru

good topic, I too don't think Obama will win, the bilderberg/illuminati/powers that be will never have that...it will cause a minor disrupt in america and it will further the one rule/one currency/one economy plan and maybe end up making a lot of people disappear who disobey..I'm gonna start saving up for a burner as soon as I find a job somewhere

"You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all of the time"

I hear what you guys are saying about the election, but the control of the organizations you mentioned rely heavily on control of information and therefor peoples opinions. With the amount of free speech that is happening on the net in forums like this that aren't inherently political and the ability for the average person to get thousands of views to a video that expresses their views on youtube is making it harder every day for concentrated power enforce a top down view of politics. In the end the people in this world who have ill will towards humanity for profit will fund their own demise. Just watch what happens, oh and if you thought the Rodney King riots where some shit wait and see what happens if the election is stolen from the first black president.

If it's a privately owned there really ain't much to say. Still, being subject to the whims of a petty admin and/mod is a real shitty experience. Good thing that shit don't go on around here.
