about tempo and pitch

Post by hdjlira »

How can change time and pitch at the same time for do it fit with a sample? Can only change the voice speed with timestretch? i see this machine is great, But it has some things that would need to be changed by roland.

Unfortunately the pitch shift and time stretch on these SP boxes suck.

Timestretching/Pitch shifting is pretty much something that you gotta do elsewhere. On another piece of equipment or software.

yes, this octave/ pitch thing at the sp555 is note useful, it sounds awful. i use audacity for pitching at the pc, and than sample it back to the roland
