the lit pads get my boys as well. it was amazin when it hit em that a sound was bein triggered w/ touch.

jaylost if u ever decide to sell all your shyt keep one piece for the kids, itll pay cuz i think it shapes their personalities playin with somethin that doesnt have a "bell" like sound 2 it.

p.s dont tell 2 many ppl u dont have kids cuz next week u will!!! :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: lol

2 kids here, son is 6 and daughter is 4. Boy doesn't care much about music... maybe he will, later, but girl is always around when I'm playing.
She loves to play arpeggios on roland D2's D-field and loves to hit white keys... on SP555 she knows how to hold a sample and turn on and play the d-beam synth. I'm not forcing any of them into anything but if there will be a whish, I will do my best. I remember when I was a kid I wanted something to play on, an instrument of anykind but I didn't get it. For my first salary around 1991, after I finished secondary school, I bought myself a Les Paul (copy), 50W guitar amp and Boss DS1 distortion. Hardcore yeah...
