...oh dudes, that's a wonderful piece by the count... first rhythm section kicks ass, mellow ending kicks heart.
I'm fucking jealous!

Ok guys, finally here's my first arena entry ever:

Blindfold - Nanaki's burden

After a long time of absence I finally had the time to do some music again and since I have a thick internet connection now, I decided to give the SP Arena a try. I know it's not very extravagant (I could've done more with the drums, duh...) but I still think it sounds cool in a way. Don't be too hard on me ;D

Alright, now I'm checking out the tracks you've done so far, I'm already curious.

edit: Omg guys, those tunes you all did are way cool! I didn't even have the idea to change the drums to somethins else than a hip hop beat... *g* Count Sierackula, you've got a sick style man, very cool that you ripped off various moods and changeups! I wonder what all the other dudes will come up with.

'welcome back' blindfold

Love it!

I like your track a lot Jbl, I felt like I was in the game.
Blindfold came with a great battle track for your first try.
1:40 is a sick change up Count.
I really enjoyed your track Elhau, it has funky old school vibe.

No, I just resampled the drum break with some distortion and compression to it and kept the original but turned that a bit less loud. So I let the original drum come in here and there to avoid the beat from becoming too repetitive. The very first drum you here is from that original as well, I just hit the button right before I started the compressed drum loop. I didn't use the sequencer here btw.

I just listened to your track dude, you've seriously done a very fresh track there, I like it pretty much. You must've spent some time on planning it out, did you?

Hey guys, I wanted to ask you something

Maybe some of you've already seen this "box.net" service.
I think it's pretty easy to use and intuitive and I bet noone gonna have problem with it.

What do you ( you, brave warriorz ) think of using one box.net account to upload all our tracks to?
For example with the username:
[email protected]
and password:
spf*r*ms ( replace *'s with the proper letters :) )?

Accidentaly someone has already set up such account and you can try it out if you want.

Accidentaly, all the current battle tracks are also uploaded so you can listen to all of them within one site in folder entitled "Battle34"

So, as I said before, I think it's pretty convenient service and I hope ya'll give it a chance.

Also, the other contestants, feel free to upload your stuff directly there.

( ps. feel free to use this [email protected] mail account. Password is the same as it is on box.net.
There is also possibility to upload your tracks (as attachment to mail) by sending em to [email protected] from this gmail account.

If the idea goes through, we'll change those passwords to avoid some unexpected guests. If not, let the accounts be hacked ;p

edit:forgot to add the direct link to this folder if you just want to hear the tracks:
