Getting Samples
Sooo
How do you find samples to put on to your 404?
Are there any sites or anything that you can suggest?
Thanks guys.

u might want to amp your turntable signal , i know the 202 303 and 505 dont power turntables, however the filter is strong enough to boost it up a lil, yyou will get much better results if you power the table with an amp then sample . this is not neccacary for sampling from cd tape radio tv or anything that already has a boosted signal.. peace !

getting samples
it's easy to get samples. I've gotten a bunch from the T.V. The 404 has a built-in mic. Just record something, chop it up, add effects, clip it again, resample again, etc. etc.
Next thing you know, you'll have a whole original bank of sounds...
